| SOMACIS Welcomes Chinese Delegation; Strengthens Cooperation |

It was a great honor for SOMACIS pcb industries to welcome an official Chinese delegation to its headquarters in Castelfidardo, Italy April 14, 2008. The delegation was made up of a number of important institutional authorities, including: Jiang Ling, Deputy Mayor, People's Government of the Dongguan Municipality; Li Peilin, Director General, Huangpu Customs District; Guo Shui, Director General, Dongguan Port Administration Bureau; Wang Qinghua, Director, Dongguan Customs House; Luo Ling, Director of General Office, Huangpu Customs District; Cai Junwen, Director of General Office, Dongguan Port Administration Bureau; Jiang Bing, Deputy-Section Chief, General Office, Huangpu Customs District; and Wen Ying, Foreign Economy Promotion Department, Dongguan Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation.

Attilio Scalmati, CEO of SOMACIS, was on hand to welcome the visitors, as were Fausto Veschi, CEO of SOMACIS International; Pierluigi Volpi, CEO of SOMACIS Holding; Simonetta Scalmati, SOMACIS Communication & Image Manager; other company managers; the Mayor of Castelfidardo Mirco Soprani; and and numerous journalists.
The meeting began with a presentation of by SOMACIS, its business and the growth plan of the group, followed by an exchange of gifts, one of which was a cross-section of Leonardo da Vinci's clock, reproduced in gold miniature, to thank the Chinese delegation for their visit. SOMACIS received a beautiful sculpture of a Lily Magnolia--the symbol of Dongguan city. This exchange was followed by a guided tour, headed by Giacomo Angeloni, SOMACIS R&D Manager, of the production facility. After the tour, Chinese tea was served with "Marchigiano" specialities before the delegation departed.

This significant meeting is yet another step toward reinforcing the already strong relationship established between the world of industry and the international institution world, and also highlights the need and willingness of cooperation between the two--and the consequential impact it has on the economic world. A strong appreciation was shown by the Chinese delegation for the efforts made by SOMACIS to support projects in China, and the delegation will strive to improve the customs situation so as to ease the flow of goods into China. SOMACIS expressed gratitude for the efficiency and speed in which the Chinese institutions have acted--contributing to the highly successful start-up of the production plant in Chashan, Dongguan City.
